Bailey’s Funeral Services tailor funeral fees to suit your needs and maintain the highest standard, whilst looking after the smallest details.

Dual Service

This style of funeral begins with a service at a church, chapel or other venue followed by a procession to the cemetery where there is a final committal ceremony.

Graveside

A graveside service takes place at the side of the grave only. There is no other service other than this.

Our Prices

Design your own funeral

These prices are aimed for those who would like to design their own funeral ceremony conducted in either our chapel, a church or one of the Cemetery Chapels, (dependent on location and availability) followed by burial service. This allows you to choose your own coffin, have any other options listed below not included in the Supreme Package.

Professional Service Fee for a Graveside Service:   –  $3,850 including GST providing:

Professional Service Fee for a Dual Service:               –  $4,000 including GST providing:

  • A funeral arrangement meeting at your home or our arrangement room
  • Transport of your loved one back to our mortuary and to the location of the grave on the day of the funeral
  • Basic Mortuary Care
  • Provision of staff to assist with the burial
  • Preparation of all necessary documents and booking of other services

Additional costs may include:

  • Full embalming if required:  –   $1,200
  • Partial Embalm  –  900.00
  • Clergy and/or church costs:   –  $450 – $700
  • Civil Celebrant   –  $850 – $1,000
  • Coffin – from $1,200
  • Casket –  from $4,000 upwards
  • Double Ended Casket Spray: from $400
  • Legal death certificate (Births, Deaths and Marriages)   –  $66
  • Newspaper notices – priced accordingly at cost
  • 4 page Order of Service booklets: from $2.50 each, Extra for 8 page booklets $5.50ea
  • DVD photographic tribute: (included in Service fee)
  • Oversize coffin,  an additional $350 upwards
  • Cemetery/grave fees – priced according to the particular cemetery and site within cemetery
  • Transfer and Funeral costs for Weekend & Public Holidays (4 hours – $400 for 2 people)
  • Sympathy Teas – This is usually paid directly to the Caterer by the family.

  • Preparation of Photo Presentation
  • Arranging equipment for DVD presentation
  • Organising death and funeral notices
  • Completing and lodging forms
  • Contacting the RSL for Returned Service personnel
  • Notifying Centrelink or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs
  • Arranging a piper, balloons, doves, butterflies etc.
  • Organising the sympathy tea
  • Providing a final itemised account of our costs at the end of the arrangement

 

Your family will know that all of the above  can be organised by Bailey’s Funeral Services, however some costs will need to be paid to 3rd party vendors.

A Dual Burial Funeral Service

A dual burial funeral service can be either religious and non-religious. Our funeral services are a respectful and meaningful farewell that honours the deceased’s personal and/or family preferences. These services combine traditional religious rituals with secular elements, often creating a space for diverse expressions of remembrance.
